Armagetron Customization

Most Players only know the simple method to change their Bike & Tail Color and haven't learned that there is a advanced method to change the color. This offers many new colors that can't be done with the simple color method. Below it will show you how to change your colors with the simple and advanced method.

*Simple Method*

Player Setup -

• Red 0-20
  
• Green 0-20
  
• Blue 0-20

Each color is setup from 1-20 and each color can be changed to get different color combinations. Use the left & right arrow keys. If you want to change the colors when your playing the game just hit the escape key then go to player setup, once the colors are changed while your playing you will have to wait until the round or match has ended before they change to the new colors.

*Advanced Method*

The first thing you must do is figure out which key is the counsel input key. Go to the sections shown below.

System Setup - Misc Stuff - Global keyboard Configuration - Console Input

The Console Input key should be f13 as a default and you can change it to whatever you want. Now that you have the Counsel Input key follow the procedure below.

Press Console Input

Color_R_1 10 (Enter) Press Console Input
Color_G_1 10 (Enter) Press Console Input
Color_b_1 10 (Enter)

The number ten can be changed and you can mix the numbers up since they dont haft to be the same. If you change the colors while your playing you must wait until the round or match has ended before they will change to the new colors. many Armagetron sites will have Color Pickers and these will help you find the colors that you want a lot easier.



The first thing you must do is figure out what your chat key is. To do this follow the procedure shown below.

Player Setup-Input Configuration-Chat key

Now that you have the chat key set you can learn how to change the color of your text. When your playing the game you must press Chat key then type zero and x then this is followed by a six digit number html color code. After that you can type your message and it will be a different color. The color will depend on what html color code you used. Below will show you how to type everything in.

Press Chat Key

(white) 0xFFFFFF Armagetron Rules (Enter)
(Black) 0x000000 Armagetron Rules (Enter)
(Red) 0xFF0000 Armagetron Rules (Enter)
(Blue) 0x0000FF Armagetron Rules (Enter)

Along with being able to change your text color you can also change your name color. Just follow the same procedure that was used to change the color of your text. Many sites show a list of html color codes and the will help you find the color you want. To find them go to a search engine and type in html color codes.
